The Fifine K690 is seriously a solid mic. The overall aesthetics, material, and fit and finish are all really good. The included stand is very sturdy and stable with a nice minimal look. In addition to all that, this mic is decked out in terms of features. It has a volume knob, mic volume knob, quick mute button, and a unique mode selector. Overall, the K690 is arguably one of the best mics offered by Fifine and is definitely one of the best valued mics you can find here on website.
We started doing weekly live webinars & moved from our podcast studio to our home offices when COVID hit in 2020. Needed to upgrade mic & camera. Glad I picked the Fifine.
Had a lot of complaints during video calls about my sound quality (Microsoft webcam), so got this Mic. Everyone noted a significant improvement, so this is worth the money. Will be using it to do some voice work for video montages and naration.
This an amazing usb mic and an even better price point. I compared this to a Shure MV7 ($250 mic) and although out of the box the MV7 sounded a bit better, after I added a effects such as a noise gate and gain these mics almost exactly the same. Definitely a great buy, but if you do get it make sure you have the mic close to your mouth. The stand that comes with the mic will not typically get it close enough to your mouth, so I'd recommend getting a mic arm with it.

Q: When will my order ship?
A: We process your order as soon as we receive it. And because of current situation, the processing time could take up to ONE business day, which is not added up to the shipping time.
Q: What if I provide the wrong/I want to change the shipping address?

If the package has already been shipped, we will message you with the carrier info as soon as possible. Then you can contact them to relocate a correct address. Q: When can I expect my package to arrive?

1. If it is a pre-order or back-order that is in stock, your package will be shipped first.
2. Delivery takes 4-7 days (based on your location), which counts from the day when your order is processed. Shipping cost is free when your order weighs below 1.51 kg.
3. If it is emergent order that needs to be delivered on a specific date, please contact us before placing the order.
Q: When will I receive my shipment tracking number?
A: You will receive a notification email about the tracking information once your order leaves warehouse that is close to your location.
Q: What if tracking info indicates the package was received but I haven't actually receive it?
A:
First off, please wait for one more business days, tracking info update could be ahead of the actual delivery.
Next, if you still haven't received package, please call and email the local post office. They will have more info than we can see online.
At last, when post office is not able to help find the package, you should send us the screenshots of communication with post office as evidence for us to file a complaint. With a response from Post Office through your contact, confirming that package is missing, we will do a refund on the product price.
Return & Refund Policy
Q: What is your return policy?
A: FIFINE MICROPHONE offers Free Return within 30 days, counting from the date when the tracking info shows delivered.
But it does not cover bulk purchase (more than three), intact item, item ordered by mistake. If you wish to return a product, please contact us.
Q: How do I request a return?
A: Please follow the steps below to return a product:
1. Contacted our email at web@fifine.cc with your order number and the reason for return (Any product shipped to us without a return authorization will be returned to the customer at his or her expense).
2. We will email you back to confirm the product condition. Custoemr will have responsiblity to help provide the info (pictures and recording) we required. Then we will give instructions for returning and a return number.
3. Ship your unused product in its original packaging to the address identified in our email.
4. Note: Return shipping fee is covered by FIFINE only if returns are for defective products, products that were not described accurately, or incorrect orders. Whether a product is defective depends the info that customer provides (pictures and recording).
"Return Terms"
Please be sure to use the original box, and the shipping carton and its packing material to ship the item back (the item is returned in the same condition as it was when shipped).
You are responsible for shipping the products back to us.If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
Q: After I have returned a product, when will I see the refund in my account?
A: After receiving and examining your returned product(s), your refund will appear in your account within 3 to 5 business days. Please be aware that the refund will depend on the policies of PayPal that was used for payment.

"Bulk Purchase Return"
If buyer bought more than THREE products at a time, any one of them is defective, we will provide the free replacement.
But if buyer decides to return them all, we will charge a restocking fee of 30% of the order total. And buyer is responsible for the shipment back to FIFINE local factory.
"Refuse-to-Receive"
Once package has been shipped out, order cancellation is not possible. When product arrives, buyers are responsible for arranging return shipping and covering the cost by themselves and emailing us back with tracking number. If buyer decides to refuse package instead, we will charge a restocking fee of 30% of the order total.
Notice: Refund of "refuse-to-receive" item does not cover the origianl shipping fee, That means in this case, we will send back the payment of only the product listed price.
"Intact Items"
An intact item is one that its package has been opened and it works without a problem. If you want to return an intact product, the return shipping cost shall be covered on customer side. And we will deduct the original shipping fee from the refund total.
"Defective Items"
A defective item is one that is inoperable but has no apparent damage. If you receive a defective product, please contact our email for assistance.

K690 FAQs
Question 1: Will this microphone work with iphone xs max?
Answer: Our USB mic is designed for using on desktop and laptop. We don't recommend to use with iphone, but if you do need to do so, just find a genuine Apple lightening to USB adapter for the connection. And you can find it on Apple store.
Question 2: Will this work on ps5? Will it work for xbox?
Answer: It's plug and play on PS4/PS5, but not compatible with xbox.
Question 3: Can this mic be used simultaneously with an xlr mic and audio interface? or can it be plugged into an audio interface and used that way?
Answer: The K690 is a plug and play USB microphone which serves as a USB sound card. You do not need audio interface to connect it with computer and it will not work with audio interface. It will work on any of the Windows and Apple computer(which has USB port).
Question 4: What size is the thread on the bottom for mounting the mic?
Answer: This computer mic comes with a 3/8" to 5/8" adapter. So you can screw it onto any standard boom arm stand by using the included 3/8" to 5/8" adapter.
Question 5: Is the audio pickup very sensitive - does it pick up audio from far away?
Answer: The best pickup distance of K690 is between 5-11 inch.
Start off with something intriguing but practical
- With a $90 budget, you have reached the threshold of an entry-level XLR microphone setup. But which one has stronger money? If you just started, do not cram yourself with loads of audio knowledge. But learn as you use. The problem with an XLR microphone setup is that you have to possess some basic info before getting the most out of it. If you plan to upgrade your current gear for streaming or recording, a proper XLR setup looks more promising, to be honest. But if the upgraded setup has to tackle an interview, face-to-face podcast, group conferencing or ASMR recording, the flexibility may fail you.
- It takes only seconds to set up a USB microphone. Plug in, choose it to be the default input and output and you are up and running. There is no guarantee that you could make an XLR setup work properly in minutes. You may go berserk before powering the mic up on an audio interface. And that bulky interface will be the biggest challenge when you want some portability and compatibility from an XLR mic. While using this K690, you just need a USB adapter to hook up to mobile.
- The microphone itself is 170mm tall and with a stand to give a few extra heights and the ability to tilt back and forward, you can talk closer and in a better angle to the mic, which will help produce a more engaging voice.
- It does not come with fancy software. You do not need one either, which may ruin the simplicity. All the necessary controls have been built to its body already, they are to give a better use experience, not to make you confused.
One microphone but with four different characters
To be brutally honest, it is not a microphone for everyone. If you just started or have a limited budget, do not let yourself get bewildered by all these fancy features. Just go for a cardioid USB microphone. If you have cracked that noob, a cardioid mic may still be the choice for you. For game streaming, using a mic with multiple capsules will not earn you more credit or more audience. Only when you are in need of something for a face-to-face interview, group conferencing, a stereo vocal or ASMR recording, consider this four-pick-up-pattern K690. Or if you are not strapped for cash, set yourself apart from others by using something in a different league is not a bad idea. Besides, who can tell whether you will be an ASMR artist one day?
